A Limerick man appeared in court yesterday on heroin charges

A Limerick man appeared in court yesterday on heroin charges. He was Mr Ray McNamara (30), Hartigan Villas, Moyross, who was charged with possession and intent to supply heroin.

Insp John Murphy, Henry Street Garda station, prosecuting, told Limerick District Court that the charges related to the seizure of heroin with a street value of £260 at Shelbourne Road, Limerick, on Saturday, September 18th. He was remanded on bail until October 19th.
