Police have launched a murder inquiry after a young man stabbed during a street row in Northern Ireland lost his fight for life.
Three men are still being questioned tonight over the attack on 20-year-old Darren Roberts in Lisburn.
The victim, who is from the city, was stabbed in the body during the incident at Millbrook Road shortly before 2am.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria hospital in nearby Belfast in a critical condition.
But despite the efforts of medics he died from his injuries at around 5pm yesterday.
Another 18-year-old man was stabbed in the side during the row but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police arrested three men, aged 23, 21 and 20 who are helping with their inquiries.
They have appealed for any witnesses to get in contact.
