England duo Michael Owen and Emile Heskey remain doubtful for Liverpool ahead of the FA Cup match against Manchester City on Sunday.
Both players missed the 1-0 defeat by Newcastle on New Year's Day because of hamstring and ankle injuries, respectively.
Midfielder Dietmar Hamann is also struggling with a shin injury, but Danny Murphy returns after suspension.
