Normal service on the Luas red line in Dublin may not resume until Sunday due to continuing work to repair fire damaged buildings.
Veolia Transport, which runs the Luas service, said buildings at Benburb Street, adjacent to the tracks, were still structurally unsafe.
Dublin City Council is continuing to work on the buildings after the fire at the weekend.
Veolia said a normal Luas service would not resume tonight, tomorrow or Saturday and that it may not be back until Sunday afternoon.
"For the council to work safely and to ensure the general public’s safety the overhead power lines are turned off and a safety cordon is in place," the company said
On the Tallaght-Saggart service, the trams will only go to the Heuston stop. There is currently no tram from Heuston to the city centre. Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the service disruption.
Luas passengers have been advised to allow extra time for travel and to check media and with AA Roadwatch for updates.
