A luxury four-star hotel is set to open in August 2006 with the creation of 121 jobs at Tyrrelstown in West Dublin.

The Park Plaza Hotel will open in Ireland following a €40 million investment by Twinlite Developments, which is headed by developer Eugene Larkin.

The 155-bedroom hotel is expected to generate up to €9 million annually for the Tyrrelstown and wider West Dublin area through tourism and linkages to local and international businesses.

Facilities will include a large conference centre with eight meeting rooms, a fitness centre, gourmet restaurant and public bar, a function and a banqueting area capable of catering for 300 guests.
