A Dublin man has been remanded on bail charged with disorderly conduct, threatening and abusive behaviour and failure to comply with an order from gardaí.

Judge Miriam Malone remanded Seán Mackey (27) from Foxrock, Co Dublin, on continuing bail to appear again before Dublin District Court on January 29th.

It is alleged that two gardaí saw Mr Mackey urinating on a Dublin city centre street at about 2am on December 29th.

When approached, it is claimed he became abusive towards the officers. He was arrested and taken to Pearse Street Garda station.
