Adrian Maguire will be taking a step into the unknown on Sunday when he saddles Valentine Hill in the Leopardstown 1000 Guineas Trial Stakes.
Maguire has decided to test the water with his three-year-old filly, who bolted up at Cork last month, in the Group Three contest.
"It's a great opportunity for myself, the owner and the filly because she is able to handle a good cut in the ground," said Maguire. "She was very impressive the last day but my only worry is that it could be a little bit on the sharp side for her.
"I think she was only getting going at the furlong pole. We were very happy with her.
"She ran some nice races as a two-year-old and on two occasions when we fancied her to run well it was fast ground and she still ran big races.
"She'll handle the ground a lot better than most, she'll be fitter than most and it'll tell us a lot about her."
Also among the entries are the Jim Bolger quintet of Linsalata, Teacht An Earraig, Tintean, Toirneach and Saoirse Abu, winner of the Phoenix Stakes and Moyglare Stud Stakes.
Aidan O'Brien can chose between Halfway To Heaven and Psalm.
