Miami - The state of Florida yesterday charged the airline maintenance firm, SabreTech, with third degree murder and manslaughter in connection with the 1996 crash of a ValuJet airliner that killed all 110 people on board.
ValuJet had contracted SabreTech to fill the oxygen canisters that later caught fire, blowing up the DC-9 plane over the Florida Everglades.
According to the state of Florida, SabreTech caused the unlawful transportation of hazardous materials.
