And so to yesterday, and the Brown Thomas International Fashion Show at the Point, which was due to go out live last night, hosted by Pat Ken- ny. The audience of 5,500 each paid up to £100 for their tickets to the show at which models Naomi Campbell, Jerry Hall, Eva Herzigova, Yasmin Le Bon, and Christy Turlington were all scheduled to appear. Before the show, designers Philip Treacy, Louise Kennedy and Mariad Whisker were among the 800 guests who were expected at the champagne receptions.

More than £280,000 had been raised raised for the ISPCC, the Chernobyl Children's Project, and the Marie Keating Cancer Awareness Fund prior to last night's show.

After the show, the stalwart crew was expected to head off to a party in The Clarence's Kitchen nightclub.
