Det Maeve O'Sullivan told Judge Brian Smyth that Mr Green had lived in the area all his life and has never been in trouble of any kind before.

Bail was granted on condition Mr Green resides at his home and pays €1,000 bail; that an independent surety of €5,000 be paid, of which one-third would secure his freedom, and that he abides by all normal conditions of bail.
