A man died last night after receiving multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and head as he sat in a car in Clondalkin in Dublin 22 last night. Four shots were discharged during the incident in which the 20-year-old man, a backseat passenger in a car on Moorfield Avenue, Clondalkin. The man was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to call Ronanstown Garda Station on 016667700.
Separately, two men were injured yesterday in a shooting in a pub in Cabra in Dublin. A 23-year-old sustained a gunshot to the shoulder in the Cabra House pub in Dublin 7. A second male in his 40s was also injured, although it is understood that he was not directly hit but received minor injuries due to shrapnel.
