A 21-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was shot in both legs in the north earlier this evening.
The attack happened in the Dungloe area of Lenadoon in West Belfast at about 7.30pm.
A spokeswoman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said that a motive for the attack had yet to be established.
