A man (25) was shot and seriously injured in Cork last night.
The man was hit in the stomach in a drive-by shooting just before 9 p.m. as he came out of a house on Pearse Road in the Ballyphehane area of the city.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment. His injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
