A 27-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the July 7th bomb attacks on London, Scotland Yard said today.
Detectives from the Anti-Terrorist Branch arrested the man in the Dewsbury area of West Yorkshire, on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000.
Scotland Yard said he was arrested last night following comments made in today's News of the World.
Two residential addresses were being searched in connection with the investigation, a police spokesman said. The man has been taken to a West Yorkshire police station for questioning.
