A man (30) died in a single vehicle car crash in Co Limerick in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened on the Pallasgreen to Cappamore Road at approximately 2.10am.
The driver of the vehicle left the road and hit a tree.
His body was removed from the scene and taken to Midwest Regional Hospital Dooradoyle, Limerick

where it is expected that a post mortem will take place this morning.
The road was closed for a short time following the crash while forensic investigators examined the scene but has now re-opened to traffic.
