A man (30) will appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow morning charged with three counts of assault on police officers.
The man, who was arrested in Tennent Street off the Shankill Road, also faces charges of riotous assembly, driving whilst unfit and failing to provide a specimen.
It is understood the assault charges are not connected to the assault on the two police officers who were attacked in their car in the area on Sunday night.
