A man has been seriously injured in a stabbing at a house in Cork city this afternoon.
The man (30) was stabbed during a row at a house at Kerryhall Road in Fairhill on the city’s northside at about 2.40pm.
He made his was out onto the road where he was discovered by woman who raised the alarm.
The man was taken ambulance to Cork University Hospital where it is understood he is in a critical condition.
Gardaí said two men and a woman whom they believe were in the house at the time of the assault have been taken to separate Garda stations. They are not under arrest but are assisting gardai with their inquiries.
Gardaí have cordoned off the house and technical experts are carrying out an examination of the scene.
