A man was charged tonight with the manslaughter of a Lithuanian man (41) in Dublin.
The man - who is also Lithuanian and 41, appeared at a special sitting of Swords District Court in connection with the death.
A Garda spokeswoman said he had been remanded in custody for a week with consent to bail.
The victim was stabbed during a row which broke out in a house in Swords at 7pm last night.
He had been living in the house, which is in the Lioscian estate in Mooretown, with a number of other foreign nationals. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment but died from his wounds.
The Garda spokeswoman said that a second man arrested in connection with the stabbing was still in custody. It is the latest in a series of violent deaths in the Lithuanian community in Ireland.
In July, a 21-year-old Lithuanian man was fatally stabbed after a late night party at a house in Clones, County Monaghan.
Gardai arrested two men in connection with the death and a file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
