A 56-year-old man has died in a house fire in Co Kerry.
The man was living in the house with his brother, also in his 50s, in Greenhouse, O'Connell's Demesne, near Castleisland.
A Garda spokesman said the fire broke out between 11pm and 4.15am but was not being treated as suspicious. A post mortem is taking place at Kerry General Hospital.
It is understood the fire started in the bedroom of the dead man whose brother woke up and raised the alarm. There was nobody else in the house at the time of the fire.
