A man accused of robbing the same Dublin newsagent's in the space of two weeks was remanded in custody by the Dublin District Court yesterday.

Before the court was Mr Perry Daly (34), of Downpatrick Road, Crumlin, who is charged with the robbery of £100 from Abbey News, Middle Abbey Street, on June 27th. He is also charged with the robbery of £360 cash and £200 worth of cigarettes from the same shop on July 8th. He also faces charges for aggravated burglary at a house in Belgard Road, Tallaght, on April 6th last.

The court heard the defendant is currently on bail for the Abbey News charges which will be tried at a hearing on September 26th next. He was remanded in custody to July 23rd on the burglary charge.
