The trial of a man accused of hiding £200,000 worth of heroin underneath the Dublin-Cork rail line has begun at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. The prosecution alleges that Mr Anthony O'Driscoll dropped a plastic parcel containing 782 grammes of heroin after digging it up from underneath the rail line at Cherry Orchard, Dublin.
Mr O'Driscoll (22) of Croftwood Park, Ballyfermot, has pleaded not guilty to having heroin for supply on February 22nd, 1996.
