A Co Tyrone man is to stand trial later this month accused of murdering his estranged wife

A Co Tyrone man is to stand trial later this month accused of murdering his estranged wife. Mr Anthony Joseph Conlon (28) Clonmore Gardens, Omagh, appeared at Cooks town Magistrate's court yesterday charged with killing his wife, Fiona (24), just over a year ago.

Her body was found on March 4th in a stream near Lisnahull housing estate, Dungannon, where she lived with her four children. Mr Conlon, who is originally from Dungannon, was remanded in custody until his trial at Omagh Crown Court.
