Stolen chequebooks belonging to closed bank accounts were used by a Dublin gang to defraud, a court heard yesterday. Donald McComiskey (51), of Greenfort Close, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty to obtaining £370 cash and goods in Athy and Naas between June and August last year.
Judge Gerard Haughton imposed a suspended nine month sentence plus 200 hours' community service.
