Guns and explosives were seized during a raid by police in Northern Ireland today.
Officers discovered a sawn-off shotgun, timing units, an imitation pistol and several old-style hand grenades during searches near Castlewellan, Co Down.
A man was arrested during the operation on the Tullyree Road, Kilcoo.
It is understood both mainstream and dissident republican paramilitaries have been active in the area.

Mr Eamon O'Neill, an SDLP MLA for the area, said the arms find was significant.
"I'm absolutely delighted that arms like this have been removed from the scene.
"No matter which grouping was responsible it means they cannot be used."
