A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder last night after a woman fell from the fourth floor window of a building in Belfast.
The 32-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital with serious chest and leg injuries after the incident at the Spring Meadows flats complex in west Belfast.
Police arrived on the scene at approximately 4.50am and detained a 26-year-old man. He was also held on suspicion of assault on police. A spokesperson for the PSNI later said the man was helping police with their enquiries.
