Police in Northern Ireland have arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with the the dissident republican murders of two British soldiers outside an Antrim army base in March.
The man was arrested in West Belfast this morning and is currently being questioned about the killings of Sappers Patrick Azimkar (21) from London, and Mark Quinsey (23) from Birmingham.
The pair were shot dead at the gates of Massereene Barracks as they collected pizza from a delivery man just before they were due to fly out to Afghanistan for a tour of duty.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said the arrested man was also being detained over the wounding of five other people - including the delivery drivers - who were shot in the incident, which was claimed by the Real IRA.
