A 26-year-old man has been charged at a special sitting of Cork District Court in connection with a knife attack in Cork city at the weekend in which a woman was stabbed several times in the neck.
Mr Don O'Halloran, of the Arches, Kilnaglory, Ballincollig, was charged with assaulting Ms Esther Mickleff causing her serious harm at a house in Abbey Street on Friday night.
