A man has been charged in Britain over alleged involvement with loyalist terrorists.
Roy Barwise (46), from Cardigan Way in Anfield, Merseyside, was charged with the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000.
He was found with firearms, ammunition and explosive materials.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "The charges follow ongoing investigations into Irish loyalist terrorism and are not linked to the explosions in London on July 7th."

Mr Barwise was arrested near his home at 6.30am yesterday by officers from the Greater Manchester Police Anti-Terror Unit and Merseyside Police. He will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
