A man was charged tonight with an arson attack which put lives at risk and badly damaged two houses in Co Derry.
The 32-year-old will appear in court in connection with the blaze which started in a shed in Parkmore Drive, Magherafelt.
The flames spread to an oil tank and then to two neighbouring houses.
Police said substantial damage was caused to both properties as a result of the fire, which was started shortly after 8.30pm on Friday.

A PSNI spokesman confirmed the man had been charged with two counts of arson with intent to endanger life and a single count of making threats to kill.
He will appear before Magherafelt Magistrates Court tomorrow.
