A man remained critically ill in the Mater Hospital in Dublin yesterday after a fire at the weekend which killed two people.
Ms Samantha Purtill (23), died in the fire at Liberty House in the north inner city. The second victim was named locally as John Moody (17). Ms Purtill's boyfriend, Mr Noel Brennan, and his father Mr Leo Brennan, were both taken to hospital after the fire. Mr Brennan Snr was in a critical condition yesterday but his son has been discharged.
