A man has died in hospital in Dundalk after he and another man were found with serious gunshot injuries in a village in south Armagh this morning.
The men were discovered lying in a street in Cullaville, near Crossmaglen at around 10 a.m.
One of the men, who was suffering from a severe chest injury was brought by ambulance to Louth General Hospital in Dundalk. He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
The second man has leg injuries, according to a PSNI spokesman. He was taken to Daisy Hill Hospital inNewry, Co Down.

It later emerged that a third man suffered head injuries in the incident. He is undergoing surgery at Louth County Hospital this afternoon.
