Man dies in accident at station

A 30-year-old man died in an accident at Galway train station on Saturday

A 30-year-old man died in an accident at Galway train station on Saturday. Mr Liam Ryan, from Clondalkin, Dublin, tried to board the 6.08 p.m. train as it left the station and fell on to the track.

A teenager was killed yesterday when his motorcycle collided with a car on the Malahide road at Kinsealy, in north Co Dublin. The accident happened shortly after 4 p.m. when the 18-year-old was travelling in the direction of Malahide. From Artane, the youth was brought by Dublin Fire Brigade to Beaumont hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Meanwhile, a cyclist was killed in a collision with a car in Co Galway on Saturday night. The man, in his 30s, was cycling near Clifden when the accident happened, at about 9.30 p.m.
