Car crashes into wall at Airglooney near Tuam early this morning

A man in his twenties has died after the car he was driving crashed into a wall on the Balgaddy Road at Airglooney near Tuam Co Galway. He was the sole occupant of the car.

A man in his twenties has died after the car he was driving crashed into a wall on the Ballygaddy Road at Airglooney near Tuam Co Galway. He was the sole occupant of the car.

The incident happened at about 1.20am this morning. The man was pronounced dead at the scene

A stretch of the road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by gardaí. Local diversions are in place.
