Gardaí are investigating a fatal crash in Co Tipperary that occured this morning.
The single-car incident took place at Ballyheene, Cashel, at about 7.05am when the vehicle hit a tree.
According to gardaí, one man was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was taken to Clonmel General Hospital with serious injuries. The dead man was a passenger.
Gardaí at Cashel Garda Station are seeking witnesses to the crash.

Meanwhile, the woman who was killed in a collision on the N76 between Kilkenny and Clonmel on Saturday has been named as Renata Ferenezova (33) of Freron Court, Kilkenny.
Gardaí also named the victim of yesterday's crash at Masonbrook, Loughrea, Co Galway. He was Paul Flynn (24), from Kylebrack, Loughrea.
