A man in his 30s died in an early morning crash in Co Tipperary.
The crash happened at 3.50am in Glengoole North, Thurles, when the man's motorcycle hit a tree. He died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved, gardaí said.
So far this year 206 people have died on Ireland's roads, a reduction of two on the same period last year.
