Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a 22-year-old man suffered fatal injuries in a car crash in Co Tipperary.
The man was seriously injured when the car he was driving hit another car on the N75 at Rathmanna, Thurles on Friday night.
He was taken by ambulance to South Tipperary General Hospital with serious injuries and later transferred to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead late last night, a Garda spokesman said.
The driver of the second car, who was also 22, was taken to hospital with minor injures and later discharged.
Forensic collisions investigators carried out a full technical examination at the scene and Gardai in Thurles are appealing for witnesses.
