A man who put an iron bar through the windscreen of a motorist's car as he waited in traffic was sentenced to six months in prison at Rathfarnham District Court yesterday.
John Gerard Maughan (24), of the Firhouse Road campsite, Firhouse, Dublin, plunged an iron bar through the win screen, causing £300 worth of damage, on May 17th.
"There is no logical explanation for this except pure blackguardness," said Judge Sean Delap.
