A Limerick man was further remanded in custody for two weeks at Limerick District Court yesterday charged with the murder of Georgina O'Donnell (20) in a city nightclub.
Mr Mark Cronin (29), Hyde Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston, was charged with the murder of Ms O'Donnell on or about May 3rd. He was also charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life at the Henry Cecil, Lower Cecil Street, on the same date and with possessing the handgun for an unlawful purpose on May 2nd.
He was also charged with assaulting Ms Angela Collins, causing her harm at Crecora Avenue, Prospect, on November 2nd, 1997. He was remanded until June 17th.
