A Kilkenny man has been found guilty at the Central Criminal Court of the double attempted murder of another man in 1999.
Last night the jury returned a majority verdict of guilty of attempted murder on two occasions, after almost 10-1/2 hours' deliberation. Previously the jury had been sent to a hotel overnight having failed earlier to reach a verdict.
Mr Justice O Caoimh put back sentencing until July 6th next to allow for a victim impact report. The prisoner was remanded in custody.
