A Limerick man has been further remanded on a charge of murder. Mr William Roche (20), single, of Millstream, Killaloe, Co Clare, was charged at Limerick District Court yesterday with the murder of John Carroll (22), single, Cappamore, Co Limerick, at Gurraun, Ballinahinch, Newport, Co Tipperary, on December 4th. He was remanded in custody until December 29th.
Mr Michael Sage (22), single, of Glenacre, Killaloe, Co Clare, was remanded on continuing conditional bail until December 29th. He is charged that on December 4th at Clarisford, Moys, Killaloe, he falsely imprisoned Mr Carroll contrary to Section 15 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act, 1997.
