A man is being questioned today in connection with the seizure of cannabis and cigarettes valued at €190,000 in Cork.
The man (34), was arrested during planned Garda operation at a house in Ascension Heights in the Churchfield area at about 9pm.
A Garda spokesman said cannabis resin - with an estimated value of €140,000, depending on analysis - was recovered. In addition, suspected contraband cigarettes valued at €50,000 were recovered.
The man is being questioned at Gurranabraher Garda station under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act.
