A man has been arrested by gardaí in Dublin in connection with the murder of Ciaran Noonan, who was abducted last October.
The 29-year-old man was murdered after an assault in the East Wall area on October 20th.
A Garda spokesman said a man in his 20s was arrested yesterday evening in the Dublin area in connection with the case. He is being held at Store Street Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
It is the twelfth arrest in connection with the murder.
Mr Noonan, who was living in Ashbourne, Co Meath, but was originally from Russell Avenue, East Wall, was last seen being bundled into a car.
His remains were discovered on November 4th, dumped in a field at Tullaghmeaden, about 10km outside Trim, Co Meath.
