Gardaí investigating the murder of gangland figure Eamon Dunne in April have arrested a man this morning.

The man (22) was arrested at 7.45am in the Dublin 7 area and is being held at Mountjoy Garda station under Section 30 of the offences against the State Act.

Last month, gardaí arrested two men in their 20s over the murder of Dunne, who was shot dead in Dublin pub.

Two armed and masked men entered the Faussagh House in Cabra, north Dublin, by the front door at 10pm on Friday April 23rd. Dunne (34) was sitting at a table to the left of the door in a large group, including some of his gang members.

One of the gunmen walked over to Dunne, pushing people out of the way. He began shooting at Dunne from behind, discharging at least six shots from a 9mm automatic pistol. The killing was captured on CCTV inside the pub.
