Police investigating the murder of a senior loyalist paramilitary in Northern Ireland earlier this month arrested a man for questioning tonight.
Jim Johnston (45) was shot dead outside his home on the edge of the village of Crawfordsburn, Co Down on May 8th.
He was a senior member of the Red Hand Commando, an organisation with close ties to the Ulster Volunteer Force.
Police said at the time they believed the murder could have been the result of a falling out among loyalists over drugs - Mr Johnston was believed to have had links to the drugs trade.
He was shot in the driveway of his large secluded home in the exclusive village when he went outside after answering the door to a caller.
Police believe two people were involved in the attack. Mr Johnston had been warned by police some time before his murder that he could be under threat and to improve his security.
At least one man has previously been arrested for questioning about the murder but released without charge.
The man being questioned tonight is from the Mid-Ulster area, said police.
