A 25-year-old man was granted bail today when he appeared in court in Northern Ireland charged with possessing illegal drugs with a street value of £700,000.
Mr John Edward Quigley, unemployed, of Ballynahinch Road, Crossgar, Co Down, faced four charges of possessing cannabis, ecstasy and amphetamines with intent to supply.
The magistrates at Newtownards, County Down, remanded him until next Thursday on bail of £10,000 and two sureties of £5,000 each on condition he reported to police three times a week.
