A man is recovering in hospital after he was shot in north Dublin last night.
The 33-year-old was shot at around 8pm in the Northway Estate in Finglas. He was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown where his injuries are said not to be life threatening.
A garda investigation has been launched into the incident. Meanwhile, two men are in hospital in Co Wexford after been stabbed in New Ross yesterday.
It happened near the quays. Neither man is believed to be seriously injured.Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
