A pedestrian was killed last night when he was hit by an articulated truck while walking on the main Cork to Mallow Road.
Gardai in Cork city said the man, who was in his late 40s, was walking in the townland of Clogheenmelicon when he was hit by the truck at around 9.25 p.m.
