A man was killed and three others injured in a road accident near Cashel, Co Tipperary this afternoon.
The man, in his early twenties, was killed instantly the car he was driving was involved in a collision with another vehicle at 1.40 p.m. on the Golden Road outside Cashel.
A passenger and two occupants of the other vehicle have been taken to hospital in Clonmel but are not thought to have suffered serious injuries.
