A guilt-ridden businessman who tried to kill himself after sexually abusing a female friend was put on the sex offenders' register for five years after being freed on a suspended jail term yesterday.
Belfast Crown Court heard that Raymond Simon Campbell (38) tried to kill himself following the sex assault in July last year. Campbell, who pleaded guilty to buggery, was given six months, suspended for two years and also ordered to be put on the RUC's sex offenders' register for the next five years.
