A NORTHERN Ireland man appeared in a London court on Saturday charged in connection with the Docklands bombing last year which ended the IRA ceasefire. There was tight security during the appearance of Mr James McArdle (29), of no fixed address, whose parents live in Crossmaglen, Co Armagh. He faces two counts of murder at South Quay on February 9th, 1996. He is also accused of conspiracy to cause the explosion with Mr Patrick McKinley and other persons unknown. Mr McKinley (32), from Mullaghbawn, Co Armagh, was charged in connection with the bombing last year. Mr McArdle was detained by the RUC with six others at a farmhouse in Cullyhanna, Co Armagh, on April 10th. He was remanded in custody to appear again before Belmarsh magistrates on May 14th.
